We are moving

Hi guys.  Just an update to let you know whats going on.  We found out about 8 or 9 days ago that we would have to move house.  Our landlord and friend, was suddenly removed from his job and had to return home.  They have been awesome to us all along, so we went house hunting

I hate moving as this blog can attest to, the uncertainty does my head in to put it lightly, I get very depressed and overwhelmed by the whole thing.  Anyway we looked at more houses than I can poke a stick at, and came up with one that we definitely wanted even though it didn't have a pool.

The house is 3 year old an no one has lived in it, its an ex display home.  4 bedrooms and a living entertaining area that suits our lifestyle down to the ground.  We put together what we thought was a good proposal, taking photos of inside our home to show the potential landlord how we live, and plenty of good references last Friday and we waited.

The good news came through on Tuesday, we got the house.  To say it was a relief was an understatement.  We have been packing ever since.  This time we will be fully packed for when we get the truck on Saturday, and a hiring a moving trailer for Friday afternoon to move all the boxes and non furniture items that we want to take over.

Saturday at 12.00 we get the moving truck, all the beds dressers tables etc will be pulled down by then so it will be simply lifting them into the truck and securing them for a single trip via truck to the house. Because we have been able to  work out where everything goes in the new house, its all in order to go into the truck should make life 100% easier.

One more thing that is really important neither day is expected to be to hot, not like the last move the in sun temp was over 55C which is dangerous to say the least.

The link below is the house we are moving into, its got photos so you can all see.  Not sure how long it will remain up after we sign the contracts, but will take photos and do a photo blog for you all to see.

On the diet front, I stopped once the pressure started it was just to hard to do both.  Good news is I haven't put much back on, under 1/2 Kg to be honest.   Once we are in the house and set up will get back into it, do the last bit :)

Our internet is going to be a problem in the short term, but we can tether using the devices we already have so should be ok for blogging etc.
