Pain

Its something that we all experience, and there are multiple types of pain.  For the purposes of this post we are talking about emotional pain. Some years ago now I took a very serious step and tried to end my life.  I drove my car at high speed into a fairly large tree.  I wasnt successful obviously, but I was broken and damaged in ways people could never imagine. We use the word pain a lot in mental health, its used to cover a wide variety of feelings.  I can tell you from experience you never want to feel the pain I felt that night.  Even the pain from the crash didnt come close to the pain and emptiness that had become me. Song has new meaning

Isn't it amazing how sometimes old songs can take on new meanings, sometimes decades after they were written.  Some of you probably realize that I am a bit of a Hard Rock/Metal fan.  Couple of days ago I stumbled across a 100 video Megadeth playlist, and spent the next day and a half headbanging like I had long hair.  Any way I thought the lyrics for their song Foreclosure of a Dream Have included the video below. Dragons have an endless fascination for me.  So I wondered how long does a Dragon live and how do they die. I found out the following THE GREAT WYRMS If a dragon lives past the age of 900 years, they are considered a Great Wyrm, and an Elder of the dragon community. All dragons will hold a great meeting to admit the new Great Wyrm to the society of dragons. Great Wyrms are highly regarded for their knowledge, their magical ability, and their prime wisdom. Elders are responsible for the teaching of past history of dragon kind, history of the world, and magic to the adult dragons. If there is an emergency that includes the dragon community, the Elders will call a grand-meeting to discuss the problem and what to do about it.
