Things I find

Image
From time to time when I do my posts I come across stuff that is different.  Sometimes remarkable and disturbing.  When I was doing the images for my post yesterday, I cam across an image that I felt I could not apply to my post, but I still think it needed to be added to my blog. As I have posted here a lot over the last year being sorry is often not enough, yet the people we say sorry to do not understand that its from the soul.  I have so much to be sorry for.  Yet I still do things I need to be sorry for, even though I know its wrong.  I know due to the issues I have I will do it till the day I leave this planet. For that reason this image says it all. the guilt of not able to appreciate life thanks to the creator of this image and deviant art

Before you read much further this post is from a personal perspective of dealing with mental illness in a relationship. So where to begin.  I have been in my current relationship for about 4 years, my partner is a lot younger than me, and that has been challenging in its own right, this being his first major relationship, just adds to that difficulty for me. I have always been up front about my illness, and most of the side effects of that, but that didn't stop me from doing the wrong thing when the relationship and our finances were under pressure.  He couldn't work for 5 months due to surgery, and well I don't get a lot of money, just enough to survive and I did my best to support both our needs. But to get through I paid a cost, a part of my personality that needs to fantasize about my actual place in the world.  This means all sorts of bad things were said and done, and expectations were let fall.  It was in a lot of ways history repeating itsel...

Is carbon Capture the First stage of Terraforming ?

As human beings we have, come to dominate our environment.  Not just that we have changed the very planet that is our home.  Now i have stated many times that I am not a human climate change believer, in fact I believe it will be shown in the future to be one of the biggest scams pulled in human history.  But this post isnt about that. Terraforming Mars This post is about our moves to now manipulate our climate.  Something that the science writers have spoken about in many books as the foundation to Terraforming.  I noticed with interest yesterday that a young Australian has designed a carbon capture method that is more than just promising . News Article If this is true if he can literally use this technology to capture Carbon and then re use it will then maybe we have taken our first step to Terraforming.  For those who don't get the concept, its pretty simple.  You pull up to a planet and its not really made for humans...

A day late but we are live

Hi guys, yes I know I am a day late, but just being cautious and when you see what I am up to you will see why. Feel free to go to www.nwbackup.net   .  Before I got unwell, I made some good money running a similar service, although some things have changed since then, the real demand for a safe place to back up your photos documents etc still remains. Wish me luck

The best laid plans of mice and men

Hi guys; Just an update, we will be delayed till at least Friday.  Have made some changes to the website and a couple of primary server changes that need to propagate.  These are not bad things in that they will save the project from wholesale changes down the track.  In a way I am happy that we are delayed a little. Will post the web address here tomorrow, for you all to go look at, you will be the first to see it, and I hope you all like it.

Build it they will come

Well today saying is "Build it and they will come".  There has been a movie (staring Mr Costner) around the theme. For me today is the end of a long process, I have vaguely noted in previous posts of a new project a new start for me.  Something that I can make money with and remove my dependence on others.  Well tonight I have put the last touches on this project and tomorrow we start our advertising campaign. You guys will be first to be notified when we go live.  I hope that this project can give me back my dignity, and give me a reason to look forward to retirement. Again to you all thanks for the support at times this process seemed never ending, and has been hard on me mentally doing all the work that is required.  Its done now and now we can move forward, forward to a better day for all I hope.  Just need a few people to sign up and I am sure the butterflies will go away. thanks

Ok, so anyone who is anyone about motor sport should recognize the Title to this post.  Its one of the most technically difficult hill climbs in the world.  Although not as tough as it used to be, when there were no paved roads.  It does not take away from the sheer driving skills required to make it to the top of that peak in under 10 minutes. Below is a copy of that run, just watch how fast everything rushes up to the camera on the car.  Now that is a true driving skill What goes wrong when you miscalculate To me hil climbs like this are the absolute top of motor sport, you need extreme skill, the right car and a lot of luck to take the record.  F1 is for all intent and purpose a flat track so smooth a billiard ball would roll around.  WRC is hard stuff but nothing like the hill climb. Qudos for those who attempt the climb to the clouds
