Hi, no this is not the photo blog, but I will be heading out through the city tomorrow and I am taking my camera with you.  Primarily to show you guys why the hell I live here, its quite an amazing place and im sure by the end you will love it as much as I do. How many of us would like to look back over our lives and say that we made a difference ?  Most of us I would bet.  For some people that is making a lasting impression on family and the lives of those around them, for others they are destined for greater things. Today I was reminded of the brilliance that was Michael Jackson.  He has been called many things and most of those deserved.  He had a very strange existence one which most of us could never understand.  But one thing he was, was brilliant, he changed the way we see music and dance, he churned out hit after hit, and the video clips that went with them still feel fresh today. Below are a couple of my all time favorite Michael clips.  I hope history is kinder to him than the press ever was, when he took his last breath the world lost one of its great artists. What can I say there is nothing more beautiful or horrifying that a charge of the Cavlary   As the poster wrote, I hope I never see those brave noble animals used in such a way again.  I have also included one of the most famous cavalry charges of all time.  The charge of the Scotts Greys during waterloo, what an amazing sight.

Hi all; You probably all noticed my absence yes it happened again, I vanished into the great interwebs.  No but really, I have been busy getting things done.  We were going away today to the southern states, but a few things have changed and we wont be going.  Both my partner and I have trips to Brisbane in the next two months for school and that realistically will be the end of any journey we wanted to take for pleasure. But I have been busy installing the 40th birthday present as each group of parts arrived, had a couple of hiccups, I blew one amp to kingdom come, it was nearly on fire by the time I cut the power.  This afternoon I finally got everything hooked up and running, have front and rear running even if it is a little unbalanced.  The head unit has an issue with left RCA output, ie there is none, so working with the supplier to work out a solution. Hey all been a long week, im not that well again on antibiotics again.  Was just thinking about things and how much my life has changed these last few years.  In a way its amazing, well to me anyway.  Most people would think what I have now as quite ordinary, but thats the whole point. Long day ahead tomorrow finish the first semesters work, and start the next on monday. Cheers all I hope your doing ok Horse
